For more than twenty years, Dave Olson has served the Lord in many capacities. After heading up a Christian school and serving as a pastor, God called Dave into missions. He and his family served the Lord as missionaries to Zambia, Africa, for ten years until a series of ongoing health problems and life-threatening illnesses led to his return in 2012. Brother Olson has a burden to train men to plant churches at home and abroad. His B.A. in Pastoral Theology and M.A. in Education have uniquely equipped him for his preaching and teaching ministry.  In addition to his writing and speaking ministry, Brother Olson helps extensively with our new believers Sunday School Classes, Growing in Grace & Basics.  He also serves as our Directory of Missions.

Joe Bishop

Mr. Bishop has been on staff at Fairhaven Baptist Church since 2009.  He received his B. A. in Pastor Theology from Fairhaven Baptist College.   Mr. Bishop is our bus mechanic, keeping our large fleet of Sunday School buses running each week. When it comes to the church bus ministry he certainly has a burden for it.  He has been around church buses ever since he was a child, riding to church on a bus every Sunday as his father drove and mother worked on the bus.  Every Tuesday growing up he would hurry home from school and get all his chores and school work completed so that he could go with his dad to the church, after he got off work, to fix and repair the church buses so they would be ready for the following Sunday.  Now that childhood enjoyment is his full time job, keeping those buses rolling!  Mr. Bishop is also in charge of our Jail Ministry going into the local prison and preaching and holding Bible studies each week.
