Becky, Melissa and I began the New Year in Warner Robins, GA.  I preached for Pastor Ron Crank at Anchor Baptist Church on January 2.  Brother Crank and his wife were quarantined the next day with Covid.  As God always does, He put us in the right place at the right time to help the church through this rough time by allowing me to preach for the next two weeks.  Bro. Crank and his wife recovered and are fine.  To continue reading the update from Rodger Bottrell, please click the link below. The Bottrells - March 2022

Here are a few updates about how our church is doing and how God is blessing and continuing to multiply your investment.  In May of this year, the Lord opened a new building for us to move into, and the location is amazing; what an answer to prayer!  To continue reading the update from Dan Bottrell, please click on the link below. I am glad to report that Becky's knee replacement surgeries went well, and she is well on the way to recovery.  The doctor said it would take about a year to be back to normal, but we are traveling now.  We praise the Lord for what He has enabled the doctors to do.  Our daughter Melissa is doing very well, and we thank God for His watch-care over her. It is hard to believe another year has passed.  Time seems to go faster the older we get.  I am thankful that 2020 is in the past now.  Although the witnessing was limited that last few months, there are always some who still want Christ as Saviour and we've led them to Him  We are looking forward to having a great year reaching those we can for our Lord. Wow, what  year!  God has been so good!  We like most churches have been meeting with all the Covid challenges.  Although, our services from time to time have been poorly attended.  To God be the glory we have not needed to cancel a single service. What a mess our country is in spiritually.  A few years ago, I wouldn't have dreamed of the things that the liberals in America are trying to implement.  I pray our country does not continue to adopt socialistic philosophies, which can only result in the loss of our religious freedoms.  Make sure you vote on election day. We finished up the year 2019 while preaching at Victory Baptist Church in El Paso, TX.  This is the church God allowed us to plant in 1984.  We were so blessed that there are still people in the church that we led to the Lord when we started 35 years ago.  To continue reading the update from Rodger Bottrell, please click the link below. What Has Been Happening We came through the end of the school year working weekly to knock new doors, follow-up and keep reaching for more and going and doing more.  God has told us in Philippians 3:13 "reaching forth."  The work continues to go forward.  In the month of June, we had our first 2 baptisms.  It was so exciting! We have traveled many places since our last letter and thank God we can still be of service to our Lord.  We were blessed to be able to attend Fairhaven's Preaching Conference where I preached Sunday evening and the Sustainer's Banquet.  This was a special time as sixteen of our children and grandchildren were present.
