Bashikulu Cromwell.  I am the adopted "grandfather" to children at the local orphanage, where I help Luckson with weekly meetings.  These are children aged three to five, whose parents are either dead, or have abandoned them.  Luckson is teaching on creation, and asked me to bring the message on the fall of man in the Garden of Eden. Geoff Gaus answered the congregation's call to pastor Independent Baptist Church, arriving on September 9, with his wife Nina and their three boys.  His presence and immediate active service have already impacted the church.  We have seen backsliders reclaimed, refinement to outreach and other aspects of the ministry, and a general tone of encouragement among members who have prayed for a pastor.  The congregation is ecxited and grateful for his arrival. Planning our ministry with Pastor Damron, he asked about vacation time for Judy and me.  I had worked second-shift with overtime, while paying a mortgage, prior to itinerant missionary service.  I answered that I felt like Judy and I were on extended vacation already.  God has taught us otherwise over the past four months. Judy and I are encouraged to meet churches and pastors, who continue meeting amidst the limits of any restrictions.  Some kept regular contact with law enforcement authorities, or made allowance for those who fear infection with coronavirus.  Others faced intimidation from agents and inspectors, but God blesses faithfulness, in spite of restriction. Judy and I would like to thank all of our supporting churches.  You have sustained us during this time with fellowship and encouragement as well as uninterrupted financial support.  We resumed presentation travel over two months ago, and testify to God's provision by the hand of His people: we are grateful. Independent Baptist Church of Kabwe voted itself independent of missionary leadership in December 2019, but without a pastor.  At Pastor Damron's direction, we assisted IBC during most of March 2020 and discovered a familiar dynamic: absen of foreign leadership, the church unifies in service.  I filled the pulpit, and conferred with the pulpit committee.  Judy assisted with Sunday School and discipleship curricula, and led ladies' fellowship. Since undertaking full-time itinerant service five years ago, God has consistently employed Judy and me during the Christmas season.  While scheduling meetings during the fall, Benson Baptist Church, Benson, Illinois, asked us to help while they await a new pastor.  We spent five weekends in Benson during December and January, visiting shut-ins and encouraging attendance, with Judy leading the children's church while I preached. As we presented our minstry in the upper Midwest this summer, we scheduled service to small local churches.  In June, Judy and I assisted Pastor Lamar Whittemore of Harvest Baptist Church, Watertown, South Dakota with annual canvassing outreach.  Pastor Whittemore also broadcasts on KPGT 89.1 FM in Watertown, and invited me to introduce our fellow-laboring ministry to his listeners. Heir of God, and joint-heirs with Christ While in Zambia, Africa, for over two months, we have assisted with teaching in the Christian School, building maintenance, and organizing an anniversary campaign.  We never get used to leaving the ministries where we are called to serve.  In the past we served while the missionary departs for furlough.  This time I worked alongside Missionary Adam Rich, as he continued to supervise IBC Kabwe.
