We dedicate this prayer letter to thanking the Lord for some of His many blessings including: salvation from sin and Hell; forgiveness, pardon, mercy and grace; the imputation of His righteousness by faith; an eternal home in Heaven; the privilege of serving the Lord in missionary ministry; and a faithful wife and children who serve the Lord with me. Here at Shoalhaven Baptist Church in Nowra, Pastor Shellabear recently celebrated his 70th birthday.  As he continues to adjust to likfe and ministry without his dear wife (whom the Lord took Home late last year), the long-term need is for the Lord to bring another Aussie minister on site to begin making transition plans for continued pastoring of the church.  To continue reading the update from Jon Hall, please click on the link below. Our move from Taree to Nowra was like most moves one might consider.  On the Taree side things started with a daunting task, a few tears, lots of prayer, much sweat, and inflated expenses.  On the Nowra side six hours south of Taree, it all ended with more sweat, answered prayers, God's wondrous intervention, Heaven-sent helpers, the finished job, and grateful hearts! After I preached my last furlough message, we were thrilled to hear that Maria, a Spanish lady who had been attending church for a short time, called on the Lord for salvation!  Have you been instrumental in inviting new people out to church?  That same morning, a faithful church memeber who is considering retiring from a prestigious line of work shared his burden and willingneww to move to Australia or someplace similar to help in the work the Lord is doing!  Are you willing, too? Since our last report, we have continued to enjoy the Lord's blessings in our furlough travels and meetings.  We have seen souls saved and saints encouraged, have been blessed with safety and other aspects of the Lord's provisions, and have experienced His comforting grace in difficulties.
