Most know Daniel Defoe as the author of Robinson Crusoe.  However, most do not realize he was a Baptist. His parents were devout Baptists and passed this knowledge down to young Daniel, but he never made a personal profession of his faith in Christ, until his later years. Most know Dr. Lee Roberson for his pastorate of Highland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN.  God lead him to take the pastorate in 1942.  He would pastor this church for over 40 years. During this time, God also lead him to start Tennessee Temple University, where hundreds of preachers were trained for ministry. Harold Sightler

God called Harold to the ministry in 1940.  To answer the call, Harold bought a tent and set it up in various places to preach the gospel. In 1918, Ford Porter began to pray for a ministry that would be a witness around the clock, long after his death.  Little did he know how God would answer that prayer.
