There cannot be true Christian joy without Christ

    • Our joy as a Christian rests completely in Christ
    • Our joy does not lie within ourselves

What joy is NOT

    • Joy is not all of our problems being solved
    • Joy is not getting what we want

What joy IS

    • Joy is being filled with Christ
    • Joy is being filled up with the fruit of Christ's righteousness

Why one doesn't have joy

    • You aren't being a light of Christ in a dark world
    • You aren't being a witness
    • All of your goals are temporal - materialism
