We have had another busy month of serving the Lord. Our main focus is church planting but in the world we live in now that has expanded to include helping churches find and call pastors, as well as praying God would raise up true men of God to lead all of these churches. Becky, Melissa and I began the New Year in Warner Robins, GA. I preached for Pastor Ron Crank at Anchor Baptist Church on January 2. Brother Crank and his wife were quarantined the next day with Covid. As God always does, He put us in the right place at the right time to help the church through this rough time by allowing me to preach for the next two weeks. Bro. Seven weeks and seven meetings later-our hearts are overflowing. We were totally amazed at the moving of the Holy Spirit in the services with altar response before the invitation was even given in some of the meetings. I am glad to report that Becky's knee replacement surgeries went well, and she is well on the way to recovery. The doctor said it would take about a year to be back to normal, but we are traveling now. We praise the Lord for what He has enabled the doctors to do. It is hard to believe we're looking at fall already. My dad used to tell me that the older you get, the more time flies. I believe that more and more. In April we traveled to South Dakota to a church near Mount Rushmore. This was a new church and they were very excited about learning Scripture. We rejoiced to be with three churches in the hot, humid deep south. On the way we dropped by to fellowship with Pastor Mike Allison at Madison, Alabama. Brother Starr preached the Sunday evening service. Then off to Foley, Alabama to be with Pastor Robert Evans and his new church Bible Study group which is soon to outgrow his home - a nice problem to have.
