First Day of Fairhaven Christian Academy

Last Wednesday marked the start of the Fairhaven Baptist Academy school year. We praise the Lord for another year to influence and train students for Christ through Christian education. Adults and children alike agree that Wrestle-O-Rama is a wonderful Fairhaven tradition. The academy boys get to compete, and everyone else gets to enjoy not only watching them, but also enjoying the delicious food! After the wrestling champions have received their trophies, the food auction begins. Mr. Ramos always finds ways to make the bidding exciting! Kindergarten Graduation

Fairhaven Christian Academy held its annual Kindergarten Graduation on Thursday, May 24. Everyone enjoyed seeing what the K5 students have learned this year. The service also included specials by a high school woodwind string group and the high school choir as well as a message from Ura Schrock. Before we know it, the FCA Kindergarten graduating class of 2018 will soon be the FBA High School graduating class of 2030. Click here or on the picture below to see more pictures.  

Third Annual “Conquerors’ Challenge” Basketball & Volleyball Tournament

We were privileged to host the third annual Fairhaven Basketball and Volleyball Tournament - The Conquerors' Challenge. Teams from Cozaddale Baptist Academy in Goshen, Ohio; Prairie Christian Academy in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin; Beth Haven Baptist Academy in Sheridan, Michigan; Pleasantville Baptist Academy in Pleasantville, Iowa; and young people from Cornerstone Baptist Church in Chicago were all able to join the Fairhaven teams this year. Everyone had a great time. Congratulations to the the Cozaddale Baptist Academy Chargers for taking first place in both volleyball and basketball! Fairhaven Baptist Academy Conqueror’s wrestling team ended their season on a high note winning 1st at the Rockford Lutheran Midnight Rumble.  The following is a re-cap of their 2017-2018 season. FBA Highlights: National Anthem Appreciation Day

The students of Fairhaven Baptist Academy had a day celebrating our National Anthem. They dressed in “red, white, and blue” and learned the story behind the writing of the Star-Spangled Banner. Then they heard the story of a Vietnam era POW, Mike Christian. While in captivity, he made an American flag so that his fellow POWs could pledge each day. Despite being beaten for making this flag, Mike resolutely made another one because of his love for and commitment to our flag and country.
