The 45th year of Fairhaven Baptist College began last week. We praise the Lord for both the new and returning students! In addition to various opening week activities, a guest speaker preaches our opening chapel services. This year's speaker was Ben Jaquith, pastor of Westgate Baptist Church in Tigard, Oregon. 40th Year of Fairhaven Baptist College Begins
The 40th year of Fairhaven Baptist College began last week. We praise the Lord for the students that God has sent here. We count it a privilege to train servants for His service! The highlight of the week was having Dr. Mike Allison here to preach in chapel. Dr. Allison, who is pastor of Madison Baptist Church in Madison, Alabama, is always a blessing when he comes, and this year was no exception. Dr. Allison's two daughters, Kari Smith ('02) and Kathy Ashley ('93), are both graduates of FBC. Dr. Allison also spoke at our annual Stewardship Banquet.

Opening Week and Stewardship Banquet
The 39th year of Fairhaven Baptist College began last week. We praise the Lord for an increased enrollment, and in particular an increase of ten male dormitory students compared to last fall. Our country needs preachers, and our prayers for these men were answered. In addition to various opening week activities, a guest preacher speaks in the first several chapel services. This year's speaker was Larry Williams, a 1980 graduate of Fairhaven Baptist College and pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Seneca, Pennsylvania.
