We were honored by those who joined us on Sunday for our special God & Country service.  It was our desire to honor those who serve our communities.  Our guest speaker, Brian Miller, served in the Cleveland Division of Police for 33 years.  He spent most of his career in uniform patrol, as an officer and later as a sergeant.  He challenged the congregation with America's most important need.  You can listen to his message here.   What a wonderful day we had at Fairhaven Baptist Church for Resurrection Sunday! The adults in the auditorium not only enjoyed hearing the children's Easter program but also a challenging message from Pastor Damron. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (I Peter 1:3)."

Mexico Missions Trip

A group consisting of several high school seniors, college students, and church members returned last week from a missions trip to Mexico City.  They spent many days serving with Missionary Clint Rardin ('94) through witnessing, maintenance projects, Bible clubs, services, a children's ministry workshop, and college classes.  Praise the Lord for His working in the lives of the people in Mexico as well as in the lives of those who went.  To see more pictures, click here or on the picture below.

College Activity to Chicago Auto Show

College students enjoyed going to the Chicago Auto Show last week.  Before heading to the city, Joe and Lori LaBate treated everyone to a delicious Italian dinner.  Some weren't quite sure about the idea of a "car show," but by the end of the evening, everyone agreed it was a great night!
