Words can hardly express our excitement at being able to rent a church building and renovate it. God has already blessed after only being in here for a couple weeks, and we very optimistic at how God will use this building as a tool for His glory. I have included some pictures of the auditorium. This last year has been a year of ups and downs.  We have seen the devil fight in ways we could not have foreseen, but we have also seen God work in ways that we could never have predicted.  We now have a solid core of abut 30 people who are faithful to the services on Sunday, and we are anticipating a good growth year for 2019.  To continue reading the update from Steve Boots click the link below. Opportunity It has been a very busy Fall for us.  The Lord has given us a lot of great opportunities, and we have seen Him bless.  I am a chaplain for our county police department, and that has been a great way for us to get our "foot in the door" of the county. New Church Planted in Virginia

FBC Alumni Steve Boots ('05) and his family recently planted a church in metropolitan Richmond, Virginia. There were 42 people in attendance for the first service of Mount Victory Baptist Church. In preparation for the first service, the Boots hosted a Community Day in the park on September 10 and had 191 people from the community come. They used this as a way to get their name out and then followed up on the addresses they received from the event. Several of these people came for the first service.
