  • REGISTRATION

    • How much does it cost?
      • $90 per teen ($20 discount if registered by October 15)
    • What does registration include?
      • Registration includes all activities, meals (Monday supper through Friday breakfast), housing, EY t-shirt, and devotional book.

    • When do I pay?
      • Registration fees are due upon arrival.  Cash, check, or credit card are accepted (2% fee for credit card payments).
    • When should I arrive?
      • Registration begins Monday, November 5 at 1 p.m.
  • LODGING FOR TEENAGERS

    • Where will teenagers stay?
      • Lodging is provided with the registration fee for all teenagers. Teens will stay on campus.
    • Can I request to stay in a specific dorm room?
      • Please indicate your request on your registration.  We cannot guarantee each request, but we will do our best to accommodate.

    • Can I stay on campus? If so, what does it cost?
      • There is a limited amount of on-campus housing available for $5 per night. Please call or email for availability (219) 926-6636 or [email protected]
    • Can I stay with a church member?
      • There is a limited amount of housing with our church members at no cost. Please call or email for availability (219) 926-6636 or [email protected].
  • CHILDREN

    • Are there nurseries provided?
      • Nurseries are available for all services for children ages 0-2 years of age.
    • Are there any activities for younger children?
      • All activities are for teens only.  There are no activities scheduled for grade school children.
  • MEALS FOR TEENAGERS

    • What meals are available in the dining hall? at what cost?
      • The registration cost covers meals beginning with Monday supper and ending with Friday breakfast. All three meals are served Tuesday through Thursday.
    • Are there other places to eat on campus?
      • The Red Fox Cafe (located in our activities building) is open at various times throughout the day and after evening services. The Red Fox Cafe serves a variety of food including burgers, chicken strips, and ice cream.
    • How much are meal tickets before and after the conference?
      • For those arriving early (before Monday supper) or staying late (after Friday breakfast), the cost of meals is as follows:  breakfast ($2), lunch ($4), dinner ($4).
  • MEALS FOR CHAPERONES

    • What meals are available to eat in the dining hall? at what cost?
      • Chaperones may purchase a meal package of $30 per person.  This would cover the cost of all meals beginning with Monday supper and ending with Friday breakfast.  Individual meal tickets are available for $5 per meal.
    • Are there other places to eat on campus?

    • Who is speaking at Empowered Youth 2018?
      • The speakers this year are Pastor Kevin Crowell, Pastor Steve Damron, Evangelist Eric Ramos, and Pastor Archie Parrish.  Go here for more details.

  • AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION

  • DETAILS

    • Is there a dress code?
      • Dress clothes are required for services.  Casual clothes are expected at activities.
      • Ladies:
        • Ladies should be tastefully and modestly dressed with skirts covering the knee while sitting, standing, or walking.  Pleated culottes or denim skirts may be worn for activities.  Walking shorts and pants are not permitted.  Low necklines, tight-fitting tops, and slits coming above the knee are not appropriate at any time.
      • Men:
        • During the service times, we ask that men not wear jeans, t-shirts, or tennis shoes.  We ask that collared shirts be worn in the evening services; however, dress shirts and ties are encouraged.  Hats are permitted outdoors only.  Shorts and tank tops are not permitted.
    • Can I bring my smartphone? tablet? etc.?
      • During Empowered Youth week all teens should refrain from the use of electronic devices.  You may leave electronic devices at your home or with your youth pastor.

    • Can I participate in the speech & music competition?
